Cocktails are best served immediately after preparation. Pre-batch the spirit mixture (vodka, vermouth, lychee syrup, lime juice) in a jar and chill; strain into glasses with fresh ice and lychee garnish when ready to serve.

Yes. Use fresh lychees if available, or substitute the syrup with lychee liqueur or lychee juice mixed with simple syrup for similar sweetness and flavor.
Any quality vodka works; choose a smooth, neutral-flavored vodka so the lychee syrup and vermouth shine. Premium vodkas offer a cleaner finish.
Place the glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes before serving, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink, then discard before straining.
Lemon juice can replace lime juice for a slightly sharper citrus note, though lime is traditional and recommended for balance with the sweet lychee.
This recipe makes one martini serving. Double or triple all ingredients to make multiple drinks for guests.
