Determine the total batch size based on your dog's size and freezer space (e.g., 10 lbs feeds a 50 lb dog for 10 days).
Use the following ratio: 50% muscle meat, 25% organ meat, 15% uncooked bone, 10% vegetables and fruit.
Choose lean muscle meat (no more than 10-15% fat): chicken, turkey, pork, beef, lamb, goat, rabbit, venison, or other variety proteins.
Add 1 oz of cold-water fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines) for every pound of food for omega-3 fatty acids.
Chop or grind organ meats (kidney, heart, liver, and others if available) to make up 25% of the recipe.
For raw food: include raw meaty bones at 12-15% of recipe; for cooked food: use bone meal instead (2 tsp per pound of food for adults, 4-6 tsp per pound for puppies depending on fat content).
Lightly pulse or puree vegetables and fruit so nutrients are bioavailable; include variety of dark leafy greens, colorful vegetables, berries, and microgreens.
Add all ingredients to a large bowl or metal chafing dish and mix thoroughly.
Portion into meal-sized servings using silicone molds, glass containers, or flat-pressed freezer bags.
Freeze portions; keep fresh food in fridge for up to 3 days.
When serving, add fats separately: green-lipped mussel oil (1/4 tsp per 25 lbs body weight), ahiflower oil (1/4 tsp per 20-25 lbs), or hempseed oil (2-3 tsp per lb of food).
Feed adult dogs 2-3% of their ideal body weight per day; feed puppies 2-3% of expected adult weight or 10% of current weight, 3 times daily until 6 months old.
Store raw batches in freezer-safe containers for up to 3 months; refrigerate cooked portions for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before feeding.

Use approximately 67% muscle meat (5 lbs), 17% organ meat (2.5 lbs), and 10% bone (1.5 lbs) per 10 lb batch. Organ meat should include kidney, heart, liver, brain, spleen, pancreas, lung, and glands.
Yes. Cook muscle meat and organ meat thoroughly, then use bone meal instead of uncooked bone to ensure proper calcium and phosphorus levels in the cooked version.
Feed 2–3% of your dog's body weight per day. A 50 lb dog typically eats 1–1.5 lbs daily. Adjust based on activity level, age, and body condition.
Salmon, mackerel, sardines, trout, and herring are ideal. Use 10 oz whole fish per 10 lb batch, or supplement with green-lipped mussel oil, ahiflower oil, or hempseed oil.
Use dark leafy greens, colorful vegetables, and low-sugar fruits like berries. Avoid high-sugar fruits and toxic vegetables like onions, garlic, and grapes.
