Instructions

Season chicken with salt and pepper and put chicken in crockpot

Combine the remaining ingredients except the peanuts and cilantro, pour over the chicken.

Cook on LOW about 4-5 hours or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and is tender

Remove the chicken from the slow cooker with a slotted spoon

Skim the fat from the sauce and thicken with corn starch, if desired. Taste for seasoning at this point and adjust if needed. (Adding more salt or pepper as desired)

Pour the sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with peanuts and cilantro
