Slice the kielbasa sausage into rounds.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the sliced sausage and brown on both sides.
Once browned, remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
To the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter. Add the chopped potatoes, diced green pepper, and diced onion.
Season the vegetables with garlic powder, onion powder, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to your liking. Stir well to combine.
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
Add the browned sausage back to the skillet with the vegetables.
Add the drained sauerkraut to the skillet.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Place the lid back on the skillet and simmer on low for another 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve hot and enjoy.
