Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough and cut it into equal portions. Place a scoop of the beef mixture into the center of each dough portion.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the seams to seal, forming a ball. Place the bites seam-side down on a baking sheet.
Bake for 8 minutes.
Remove the bites from the oven. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush the garlic butter over the top of each bite.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Return to the oven and bake for another 8 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes until warmed through.
Yes. Assemble the bites, refrigerate on a baking sheet for up to 4 hours, then bake when ready. You may need to add 2-3 minutes to baking time if baking from chilled.
Substitute with soy sauce or omit it entirely—the BBQ sauce and bacon provide plenty of savory flavor.
Yes. Monterey Jack, pepper jack, or a cheddar-mozzarella blend all work well and melt evenly.
Bake until the pizza dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and slightly browned at the edges, about 12-15 minutes at 375°F.
Yes. Freeze unbaked bites on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen, adding 3-5 minutes to baking time.
