Mix flour, sour cream, softened butter, and yeast together until a soft dough forms.
Divide dough into 4 equal balls, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
To make the filling, cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in flour and vanilla extract until combined into a paste-like filling.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
