Quaalude Cocktail (Vodka Hazelnut Coffee Liqueur)

Pro tips

• Use whole milk or cream instead of low-fat for a richer, silkier mouthfeel that balances the strong spirits.
• Chill your glass beforehand to keep the drink cold longer without over-diluting it with ice.
• Stir rather than shake to preserve the creamy texture and avoid excessive aeration.
• Serve immediately after mixing—the milk can separate slightly if left sitting for extended periods.

Substitutions

• Coffee liqueur → cold brew concentrate + simple syrup (reduces alcohol content slightly)
• Hazelnut liqueur → amaretto or almond liqueur (shifts flavor to almond but keeps nutty profile)
• Milk → heavy cream (creates a thicker, more dessert-like texture)
• Vodka → dark rum or brandy (adds depth and warmth)
