Shake with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Rose water adds a delicate, floral note with subtle sweetness. Use sparingly—just 2 drops—as it can easily overpower other flavors.
Mix the spirit base in advance and store in the refrigerator; add the rose water and Lillet Blanc just before serving to preserve the floral aroma.
Serve chilled over ice in a coupe or martini glass. A citrus twist or edible rose petal makes an elegant garnish.
Dry vermouth or Cocchi Americano work as alternatives, though they'll shift the flavor profile slightly toward more herbal or bitter notes.
