First, remove any stickers from the lime and wash it thoroughly.
Trim off the very ends of the lime. Cut just enough so the white pith is still visible.
Cut the lime in half lengthwise.
Make a small horizontal cut across the center of the pulp on each lime half. This slit will allow the wedge to sit on the rim of a glass.
Place the lime halves cut-side down and slice each half into three equal wedges, for a total of six wedges per lime.
