Chili Cheese Burrito

Place the ground beef in a large, cold pot.

Pour 2 cups of water over the beef.

Turn the heat to medium-high and begin breaking up the meat with a spoon as it cooks. Continue cooking and stirring until the beef is no longer pink.

Once the beef is fully cooked and the fat has rendered, carefully strain the meat, discarding the liquid.

Return the cooked beef to the pot over low heat.

Add the taco seasoning mix and dark chili powder to the beef.

Pour in 2 cups of hot water and stir everything together until well combined.

Taste the chili meat and adjust seasonings if desired. Let it simmer on low until it reaches your preferred consistency.

To assemble, place a scoop of the chili meat onto a steamed flour tortilla.

Top with a generous amount of shredded Mexican cheese blend.

Roll the burrito tightly and serve immediately. Add sour cream if you like.
