Matcha Banana Pudding

In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, and matcha powder until combined. Let it sit for a few minutes to harden.

Once the pudding has set, add the sweetened condensed milk and softened cream cheese. Whisk again until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

To make the crust, crush about two-thirds of the vanilla wafers in a blender or food processor until they form fine crumbs.

In a separate bowl, combine the wafer crumbs with the melted butter and mix until the texture resembles wet sand.

In another large bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the matcha pudding mixture into the whipped cream until fully incorporated.

Begin assembling the dessert. You can use individual cups or one large baking dish. Start with a layer of the wafer crust on the bottom.

Add a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of whole vanilla wafers. Top with a generous layer of the matcha pudding.

Repeat the layers one more time: bananas, wafers, and a final layer of matcha pudding.

Garnish the top with more sliced bananas, whole vanilla wafers, and a sprinkle of crushed wafers. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
