Using a drinking glass, press down firmly on the center of a slice of bread to cut out a circle.
Place the bread frame into a preheated mini waffle maker.
Crack an egg directly into the hole in the center of the bread.
Close the waffle maker and cook for about 15-20 seconds, just until the egg white begins to set.
Open the waffle maker and place several frozen tater tots on top of the partially cooked egg.
Close the lid again and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the egg is cooked to your liking.
Open the waffle maker and drizzle the top with ketchup and mustard, if desired.
Carefully remove the waffled egg toast from the maker and serve immediately.
