Pour cranberry juice into over sized red-wine glass.
Combine sherbet, vodka, and schnapps in blender and blend until smooth.
Pour blended mixture over cranberry juice to produce a swirl effect and layer champagne on top.
Garnish with an orange slice.
This drink is best served fresh immediately after assembly; do not store mixed cocktails for later.
Mix the vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice ahead of time, but add champagne and sherbet just before serving to maintain carbonation and texture.
Any dry or brut champagne works; avoid sweet varieties as the sherbet and schnapps already add sweetness.
Yes — try lime, orange, or raspberry sherbet for different flavor profiles, though you'll lose the rainbow visual effect.
Chill your glass beforehand and use fresh ice; the sherbet will melt slightly and dilute the drink, so drink it promptly.
