In a large skillet over medium-high heat, begin to brown the ground beef.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the beef and continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and the onion is softened.
Carefully drain the excess grease from the skillet.
Season the cooked beef and onion mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to your taste.
While the beef is cooking, cook the frozen mixed vegetables in the microwave according to the package directions.
Add the can of pork and beans to the skillet and stir to combine.
Add the cooked mixed vegetables to the skillet.
Pour in the vegetable juice and stir everything together until well combined.
