Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. For safety, it's recommended to wear gloves.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
Press one mini smoked sausage on top of the cheese filling in each jalapeño half.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Wrap one triangle of dough around each stuffed jalapeño.
Place the wrapped poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
