In a bowl, combine the cooked sushi rice with rice wine, sugar, and sesame oil. Mix well to season the rice.
In a separate bowl, combine the shredded imitation crab with 1 tablespoon of Japanese mayonnaise. Mix until the crab is coated.
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread the seasoned sushi rice evenly over the nori, then flip it over so the rice side is facing down.
Arrange the crab mixture, cucumber strips, and avocado slices in a line across the center of the nori sheet.
Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi tightly.
Drape the thinly sliced salmon over the top of the entire roll.
Slice the roll into 8-10 pieces.
Create a boat shape with aluminum foil and place the sliced roll inside, keeping the pieces together.
Generously top the roll with spicy mayonnaise, followed by a drizzle of unagi sauce.
Broil for 7 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly with some charred spots.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
