Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, packed brown sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Whisk the wet ingredients together until well combined. Set the bowl aside.
In a separate large bowl, add the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Stir the dry ingredients together to combine.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Add the chocolate chips and gently fold them into the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Bake for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve, optionally with butter.
