In a blender, combine the eggs, cottage cheese, salt, and pepper.
Blend until the mixture is just combined and frothy.
Pour the egg mixture into a greased square baking dish.
Bake until the eggs are set and puffed in the center. (Note: Oven temperature and time not specified).
While the eggs are baking, slice the pretzel buns in half horizontally and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Toast the buns in the oven until lightly golden.
Place the bottom half of the toasted buns into the baking dish (or another dish of the same size).
Carefully place the entire baked egg slab on top of the bottom buns.
Layer the slices of American cheese over the hot eggs.
Return the dish to the oven just long enough to melt the cheese, about 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with hot sauce, if desired.
Place the top half of the pretzel buns on top of the melted cheese.
Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately.
