The Road Runner is a creamy, dessert-style cocktail or shot made with vodka, almond liqueur, and coconut cream. It's typically served chilled and can be consumed as a shooter or on the rocks.
Pre-batch the vodka and amaretto, but add coconut cream just before serving to prevent separation and maintain texture.
Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass for a shooter, or serve over ice in a rocks glass for a sipper. Both work well.
Heavy cream, coconut milk, or Irish cream liqueur are viable substitutes, though they will alter the flavor profile slightly.
