Put all ingredients in a large glass pitcher with ice.
Stir and decorate with fruits in season and also rind of cucumber inserted on each side of pitcher.
Top with a small bunch of mint sprigs.
Serve in claret glass.
This cocktail is best served fresh; prepare components ahead but add carbonated water and serve immediately.
Both are orange liqueurs, but Curacao is typically deeper and more herbal, while triple sec is drier and more citrus-forward. This recipe uses both for balanced complexity.
Mix all ingredients except carbonated water up to 4 hours ahead; add the sparkling water just before serving to maintain carbonation.
Use a dry to off-dry Sauterne rather than a dessert Sauterne to balance the sweetness from powdered sugar and liqueurs.
Serve chilled over ice in a wine glass or punch cup with fresh fruit garnish for a classic presentation.
