Place the baby potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the frozen mini corn cobs on top of the potatoes.
Season generously with hot sauce, bay leaves, and Old Bay seasoning.
Add the stick of butter and the diced yellow onions.
Slice the Cajun-style sausage into 1-inch rounds and layer them on top of everything in the slow cooker.
Add the minced garlic and another generous douse of Old Bay seasoning and hot sauce over the sausage.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
About 10-15 minutes before you're ready to eat, add the raw shrimp to the slow cooker. Cover and continue cooking until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Serve immediately, traditionally by spreading the contents out on a paper-lined table.
