Open the jar of pickles. Do not drain the juice.
Add the sliced carrots and sliced jalapeños to the jar, pushing them down into the pickle brine.
Add the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and granulated sugar to the jar.
Pour in the packet of ranch seasoning mix and the packet of spicy ranch seasoning mix.
Secure the lid tightly on the jar and shake vigorously to combine all the ingredients.
Refrigerate for at least 3 days before serving, shaking the jar occasionally. The flavor will develop more over time.
