Preheat your broiler.
Slice the hoagie roll in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
Spread pesto evenly over both halves of the roll.
Layer the salami slices on top of the pesto.
Add slices of fresh mozzarella on top of the salami.
Top with tomato slices.
Place the baking sheet under the broiler for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
