Gemelli Pasta Casserole
A one-dish baked pasta casserole made with gemelli noodles, creamy marinara, Alfredo sauce, frozen Italian meatballs, and melted cheese. Everything bakes together in one dish for easy clean-up.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Gemelli noodles
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 (24 oz) jar Marinara sauce
- 2.5 cups water
- 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
- 20 frozen Italian meatballs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnishoptional

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a large casserole dish with cooking spray.

Add the dry noodles and olive oil to the casserole dish and stir until the noodles are coated.

Add the Marinara sauce, water and Alfredo sauce; stir well.

Add the meatballs and stir.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake for 30 minutes; remove the foil and stir.

Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender; stir again.

Sprinkle the casserole with Parmesan cheese and then the Mozzarella.

Bake an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Top with fresh basil, if desired, and serve warm.
