Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, dry onion soup mix, and milk.
Melt the peanut butter in the microwave for about 15 seconds and add it to the meat mixture.
Mix all ingredients together until just combined.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Press the meat mixture evenly into the parchment-lined pan, filling it from edge to edge.
Sprinkle the diced onion evenly over the top of the meat.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through.
Carefully remove the pan from the oven and pour off any excess liquid.
Lay the slices of American cheese over the hot meat.
Slice the slab of slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes to melt the cheese and toast the buns.
Remove from the oven. Using the parchment paper as handles, lift the meat and top buns and place them on the bottom half of the rolls.
Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately.
