Pour all ingredients except champagne into punch bowl over large block of ice.
Top with champagne.
Decorate with sliced bananas.
Makes 36 servings.
Store mixed rum, orange juice, and vermouth in the refrigerator up to 24 hours before adding champagne. Once champagne is added, serve within 2–3 hours for best carbonation.

Mix the rum, orange juice, and vermouth in advance and chill. Add champagne just before serving to preserve carbonation.
Add ice to the serving bowl or pitcher, or chill all ingredients beforehand and add champagne last.
This recipe yields approximately 12–16 servings (1.5–2 oz pours per drink), depending on glass size.
Dark or spiced rum will change the flavor profile; light/white rum keeps the intended bright citrus character.
You can make a non-alcoholic batch by replacing rum with extra orange juice and using ginger ale instead of champagne.
