Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook seasoned chicken breasts in the bacon grease for about 5 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook for another couple minutes. Remove chicken from pan (it won't be fully cooked yet).
Add sliced red onion and banana peppers with 2 tablespoons of banana pepper brine to the pan drippings. Cook for a couple minutes until onion is softened.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Return chicken and any accumulated juices back to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through.
Remove chicken to a serving platter. Stir feta cheese into the cream sauce and serve over the chicken.
