Shake first four ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled
hurricane glass.
Top with grenadine.
Garnish with peach.
Coconut-flavored rum is the specified base spirit. Malibu or Bacardi Coconut are standard choices that deliver the tropical flavor profile the drink requires.
Yes. Multiply the ingredient ratios and mix the rum, schnapps, and juices in a pitcher. Pour into ice-filled glasses individually and add grenadine to each just before serving to preserve the visual sink effect.
Grenadine adds sweetness and creates an attractive layered color effect when poured slowly into the drink. It also contributes subtle pomegranate flavor.
A peach slice is the specified garnish. Float it on top or perch it on the rim to enhance the tropical presentation and add a visual fruit element.
This is a chilled cocktail. Serve over ice in a highball or rocks glass for maximum refreshment.
