In a small saucepan, pour in the lactose-free whole milk.
Heat the milk over medium heat until warm. Do not boil.
While the milk is heating, prepare your mug. Drizzle the inside with chocolate sauce and add the hot cocoa mix.
Carefully pour the hot milk into the prepared mug.
Stir well until the hot cocoa mix is completely dissolved.
Top with your favorite garnishes, such as mini marshmallows, crushed peppermint, and chopped peppermint bark.
