Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, prepare the cornbread mix according to package instructions.
Stir the diced green chiles and drained sweet corn into the cornbread batter until just combined.
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and pour the cornbread batter into it, spreading evenly.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off any excess grease.
Stir the can of sloppy joe sauce into the cooked ground beef and mix well.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture over the cornbread batter in the baking dish.
Using a spoon or spatula, gently swirl the meat mixture into the cornbread batter.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the casserole from the oven, sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top, and return to the oven.
Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cornbread is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
