Pour the can of baked beans into the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add a squeeze of yellow mustard and a sprinkle of brown sugar over the beans.
Top with chopped red onion.
Arrange the boneless, skinless chicken thighs over the bean mixture.
Sprinkle the packet of ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
In a separate bowl or measuring cup, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the chicken.
