Remove the cardboard sleeve from the stovetop popcorn kit.
Place the pan on a stovetop burner over medium-high heat.
Continuously shake the pan back and forth over the heat to distribute the kernels and prevent burning.
Continue shaking as you hear the kernels begin to pop. The foil dome will start to expand.
Keep shaking until the popping slows down significantly and the foil is fully expanded. This should take 2-4 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat. Carefully open the foil top, being mindful of hot steam.
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl and enjoy immediately.
