Cut watermelon into large chunks, removing seeds if present.
Add the watermelon chunks to a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain the watermelon juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp. This step is optional but recommended for a smoother texture.
Peel the lemon and lime, removing the outer rind and as much of the white pith as possible to avoid bitterness.
Pour the strained watermelon juice back into the blender. Add the peeled lemon, peeled lime, fresh mint leaves, granulated sugar, and optional honey.
Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is smooth.
To serve, add ice to a cocktail shaker, pour in the lemonade, and shake until well-chilled.
Pour the chilled lemonade into a large pitcher filled with more ice and optional lemon and lime slices.
Store in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add fresh ice before serving to prevent dilution.
Blender · Fine-mesh sieve (optional, for pulp-free texture)

Taste before serving. Add more honey or sugar a teaspoon at a time. Ripe watermelon is naturally sweet, so you may need less added sweetener than the recipe calls for.
