In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise and melted butter. Stir with a fork or whisk until combined.
Add the tomato paste, garlic powder, paprika, granulated sugar, onion powder, and sea salt flakes to the bowl.
Stir all ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and uniform in color.
Slowly add water, a little at a time, stirring continuously until the sauce reaches your desired consistency. You may not need the full amount.
Stir in either the lime juice or rice vinegar for a bit of acidity.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
