Build a fire in a fire pit and allow it to burn down to hot embers, which are ideal for roasting.

Prepare your s'more base by placing a piece of chocolate or a Reese's cup on one half of a graham cracker.

Carefully place a large marshmallow on the end of a roasting skewer.

Roast the marshmallow over the hot embers, turning occasionally, until it is golden brown and gooey to your liking.

Once roasted, place the hot marshmallow directly on top of the chocolate.

Place the second graham cracker half on top and gently press down while sliding the skewer out.
