Place the cream cheese frosting in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in short intervals, stirring between each, until it is melted and has a smooth consistency slightly thicker than honey.
Holding a strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted frosting, coating it about three-quarters of the way up.
Immediately roll the frosting-coated strawberry in the chopped pecans until it's well covered.
Place the finished strawberries on a plate or serving tray. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
Refrigerate on a parchment-lined tray in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Wash and completely dry the strawberries before dipping, and use them immediately after drying. Excess moisture will cause the frosting to slide off and soften the fruit.
Yes. Refrigerate on a parchment-lined tray for up to 2 days. Store in an airtight container to prevent them from absorbing odors from the fridge.
Chopped almonds, walnuts, pistachios, or finely shredded coconut work well. You can also use sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or crushed graham crackers.
Let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes until it's spreadable but not too soft, making it easier to coat the strawberries evenly.
Yes. Any cream cheese frosting recipe will work, though store-bought is easier and ensures consistent thickness for dipping.
