Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large measuring cup or bowl, combine the warm water and honey.
Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the water and stir gently. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
Once the yeast is activated, stir in the olive oil and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, add the all-purpose flour.
Pour the wet yeast mixture into the flour and stir with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
Using a stand mixer with a dough hook, knead the dough for about 4 minutes until smooth.
Grease a clean bowl, place the dough inside, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
While the dough rises, grease a loaf pan and set it aside.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air and fold it over a few times.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, stretch it into a rectangle, then tuck the edges under to form a loaf.
Place the shaped loaf into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Remove the bread from the oven and immediately brush the top with melted butter.
Let the bread cool on a wire rack for about 20 minutes before slicing.
To make the snack, slice the cooled bread. Place slices on a baking sheet and top with small pats of butter.
Set your oven to broil on high. Place the baking sheet on the top rack and broil until the bread is golden brown.
Spread one slice of toast with peanut butter and another with apple jelly. Combine to make a sandwich and enjoy.
