Kentucky Mint Julep

Put 12 sprigs of fresh mint into a

bowl and cover with powdered sugar.

Add just enough water to

dissolve the sugar and then muddle

Place half the crushed mint

and liquid into a Tom Collins glass.

Fill glass half full of shaved ice and

then add rest of crushed mint and

fill the glass with shaved ice.

Boston Whiskey and place

in a refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Before serving decorate with

sprigs of mint covered with powdered

Serve with a straw.
