Cook the frozen onion rings in an air fryer or oven according to package directions until golden and crispy.
While the onion rings cook, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula.
Add the diced onion, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully browned and the onions are softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Without separating the rolls, slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
Layer the American cheese slices evenly over the bottom buns.
Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly over the cheese.
Drizzle the burger sauce over the beef, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Arrange the cooked onion rings on top of the cheese, placing one over each individual slider.
Place the top half of the rolls over the onion rings.
Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
