Paloma
Now this is a drink that will wake up your taste buds. Grapefruit soda gives just enough sweetness while lime gives it a sour kick. Throw in a little salt and some tequila, and what more could you ask for? Soda also imparts a fizzy quality that makes any drink ten times more refreshing. If southern Mexico made champagne, it would probably taste something like this. In a pinch, grapefruit juice, soda water, and simple syrup can be substituted for grapefruit soda, but it will yield a heavier drink, so try to opt for the former. Some people like a salted rim; others prefer to throw a little salt straight into the drink. Either is fine, just don't omit it.
