Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, dried parsley, garlic powder, and minced garlic to create a garlic butter spread.
Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven until nice and golden.
While the bread is toasting, brown the ground Italian sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once cooked, drain any excess grease.
Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Spread pizza sauce evenly over both halves.
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni slices.
