Place the Hawaiian rolls in a baking dish. Using a knife, poke a hole in the center of each roll and swirl it around to create a space for the filling.
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.
Pour the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the tops of the rolls, spreading it evenly to cover them.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing. In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice.
Using a hand mixer, beat the icing ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Remove the baked rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Spread the pumpkin cream cheese icing generously over the warm rolls.
Serve warm and enjoy.
